- The mediator extends OGSA-DAI's base exception classes to use the OGSA-DAI-compliant Exceptions.
- Error messages from a wrapper are now propagated to the client.
- End-to-end client displays a warning message when the mediator has reached the operation time limit (maxTime).
- Mediator time-out event is now embedded into the mediator operation status message which can be retrieved by a client.
- A build.xml file for invoking clients is provided.

- OGSA-WebDB client has been divided into two stand-alone clients: Management Client and End-to-end Client.

Bugs Fixed †
- The string value of a condition in the WHERE clause now can contain string 'or' and 'and', e.g., WHERE title = 'XML and XSLT'.
- Numeric column types other than SMALLINT now can be used in a proxy relation schema.
- A data service now can be deleted when the client is running in Java 5.0 environment
